
Seamus always encourages his staff to work as a team and each member has an important role to play in the success of the stable. From Alison Dunford breaking in all the young horses to all the part time and weekend staff, each member has their role. 20 year old Joel Belbin has now completed 2 seasons point to pointing.

Ken Cooper is one of our longest serving members of staff. As well as taking control of the feeding, Ken is a "jack of all trades" from managing the gallops to the day to day supervision and maintenance of the yards.
As with any racing yard veterinary cover is essential and here at Wilsford we are extrememly lucky to be able to call in the service of one of the countries top racing vets Clive Hamblin. Having qualifed from the Royal Veterinary College, Clive has spent his career working as a racecourse vet and is regarded as one of the top of his profession and is on the veterinary team for Ascot, Wincanton, Chepstow and many other courses.
Simon Young has been at Wilsford Stables since 1995 and keeps our horses feet in good condition. He attends the yard twice a week so we are able to ensure that all our horses have the best foot care throughout the year.
Lou Griffen, has worked in racing most of her life and has been at Wilsford since 1999.Her main responsibility is to ensure that the horses arrive safely at the races. She is a dedicated member of staff and spends many hours on the road driving the Wilsford "winners" from one end of the country to the other. Lou is currently off work having undergone surgery on her knee and we wish her a speedy recovery.
